This is based on the results of the 2024 Nabire Pilbup survey conducted by the Indonesian Election Study Institute (LKPI).

Then, Togu continued, in third place Hugo Martinus Karubaba obtained an electability rate of 18.1 percent, fourth Ismail Djamaluddin 7.3 percent, fifth Evan Ibo 3.1 percent, sixth Oktovina Woromboni 1.3 percent, seventh Albert Kayame 1.1 percent, and the remaining 20.7 percent have not voted.

Togu revealed that based on the results of a survey on public satisfaction with Mesak Magai, the incumbent Regent of Nabire, only 35.2 percent were satisfied, 60.7 percent were dissatisfied, and 4.1 percent did not answer.

According to Togu, this figure is very low and reflects the lack of public appreciation for his performance during his tenure as Regent of Nabire.

It was revealed that the reasons behind the low level of satisfaction of the Nabire community were varied, including dissatisfaction with the policies taken, lack of infrastructure improvements, or the lack of programs whose benefits were directly felt by the Nabire community.
