jpnn.comJAKARTA – Acting General Chairman of the United Development Party, Muhamad Mardiono, saw off the daily management of the PPP DPP who will be leaving for the Umrah, at his residence in Permata Hijau, South Jakarta, Thursday evening (5/9).
“This is done in order to build a sense of family and familiarity in the management. So that in the future we can fight again to face the big political agenda in the future with one rhythm,” said Mardiono.
Mardioni said that in addition to praying for the party with the Kaaba symbol, the daily management’s Umrah trip this time will be accompanied by a pilgrimage to the Tomb of KH Mbah Maimoen Zubair, as well as a celebration of the Prophet’s birthday.
“Indeed, a tradition of PPP cadres when going on the hajj or umrah is to make a pilgrimage to the tomb of our teacher KH Maimoen Zubair in Mecca. Furthermore, because it coincides with the momentum of the Prophet’s birthday, they will do it there,” he said.
In the same place, the Chairman of the PPP DPP Expert Council, Prof. Prijono Tjiptoherijanto, appreciated the leadership of Muhamad Mardiono who had sent the daily administrators for the Umrah together.
“We from the assembly really appreciate the activity carried out, namely the joint umrah. Because as far as I know, this is the first time an activity like this has been carried out. We hope it will continue, because our Islamic party can respect things related to Islam,” said Prijono.
He also hoped that the daily managers who will go to the holy land can carry out worship smoothly until they return to their homeland.
“We also hope that our friends will pray there for the revival and success of the PPP in the future. Because we are not finished this year, it will continue in the following years,” he said.
