Maria Hospital announced on the 8th that it will be operating Korea’s first egg freezing pop-up store, ‘Now Storage’, from today (the 8th) to the 25th in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, to raise awareness of ‘egg freezing’ and ’embryo freezing’, which are considered solutions to the low birth rate era.

‘Now Storage’ is an experiential pop-up store designed to provide healthy options called ‘egg freezing’ and ’embryo freezing’ so that the 2030 generation can have children according to their life cycle, and to convey support and empathy to them. In particular, it is drawing attention because it introduces the concept of ’embryo freezing’, in which couples create embryos in advance and freeze them, in addition to ‘egg freezing’, which is currently known as a solution to the low birth rate.

At the media day held to commemorate the opening of the pop-up store, Executive Vice President Lim Tae-won said, “For the past 35 years, Maria Hospital has been dedicated to developing next-generation technologies, from cryopreservation technology that boasts a 95% survival rate to personalized fertilization solutions using AI as a world-class infertility center.” He added, “We will continue to do our best to ensure that everyone who wishes to get pregnant can bear the precious fruit of life.”

Next, Dr. Lee Jae-eun of Songpa Maria (Maria Plus) said, “I am glad that this pop-up store can help raise awareness of egg freezing and embryo freezing for more people and naturally narrow the distance between childbirth and pregnancy, which can seem far away,” emphasizing, “I hope that this pop-up will help overcome the low birth rate by expanding positive perceptions of childbirth and contributing to proactive responses to infertile patients.”

Meanwhile, the pop-up store consists of various spaces and events, such as △Now Dive △Now Recipe △Now Photo Studio where you can examine your precious values from various angles, △Now Storage △Now Counseling Center △Now Dive △Reward Zone where you can experience other values that you need to save for the future that will unfold. Not only can visitors feel a different kind of fun through the ‘Now Photo Studio’ where they can leave behind memorable photos, but they can also share their concerns about women’s health issues through customized 1:1 consulting with doctors from Maria Hospital in the ‘Now Counseling Center’ zone.

The current storage pop-up store is open to anyone without a separate reservation, and is open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekdays and 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekends. Maria Hospital plans to continue to provide opportunities for women to expand positive awareness of pregnancy and childbirth through various events such as talk concerts and pop-up stores.
