Through a moving video posted on her social media, Mariana Rodríguez shared that she recently had a miscarriage in which she lost her fifth baby, in an attempt to raise awareness about pregnancy losses and how painful they can be for women trying to conceive.

In the clip, the moment when the First Lady of Nuevo León took a pregnancy test on June 4, which turned out positive, is shown, along with images of the baby’s ultrasound, before starting preparations to welcome the new family member. Apparently, the social media star was 4 weeks pregnant.
The video also features the influencer’s daughter, Mariel, who celebrates with her mom that she will soon be a big sister; however, the images shift abruptly, showing Mariana with tearful eyes, then hospitalized, and finally implying that the baby she was expecting unfortunately passed away.
The recording was accompanied by a message saying: “It hurts as if it were the first time, I have 5 little angels in heaven,” wrote the influencer, who has previously shared her infertility struggles and the challenges of conceiving Mariel.
This morning, Samuel García’s wife thanked the expressions of affection and solidarity that thousands of followers have left her on her social media like Instagram and WhatsApp and explained that with her experience, she hopes more women will talk about a topic that is difficult for those looking to get pregnant.

“This pregnancy took us by surprise, naturally. I thought it was like my reward after how things had turned out before Mariel, but no, life has other plans, God has other plans, and although I know I don’t understand them right now, I have to trust, something is coming, and while it lasted, it was very beautiful. Mariel began to notice everything; it was because of her that I realized,” she expressed emotionally.
This would be the fifth baby that the influencer has lost alongside the governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García; in May 2020, the couple revealed the loss of their first baby through their social media.
