Marin Hinkle, known for her role in “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” has filed for divorce from her husband of 25 years, Randall Sommer, according to People. The 57-year-old actress cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split. While the exact date of separation is listed as ‘TBD’ in court documents, Marin has requested the court to ‘reserve’ the issue of spousal support for future determination.

In her petition to the court, Marin also asked for consideration of the ‘earnings and accumulations of assets’ before and after the marriage, as well as ‘miscellaneous assets,’ as separate property. The couple shares one son, Ben, whose age has not been verified by his parents. Reports differ on whether he is a teenager or 20-year-old.

Marin and Randall tied the knot in August 1997, with sources revealing that they had first met six years prior to their marriage. While Marin has kept her personal life private, she did open up about motherhood in a 2019 interview with Entertainment Tonight, stating that being a mom meant putting her own needs and development on the back burner.

Marin’s relationship with Randall reportedly began in Paris in the early 90s. Despite her age, the actress expressed gratitude for having a job in her 50s, acknowledging the challenges of finding available roles for people of her age due to ageism and sexism in the industry. She praised “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” for addressing these issues.

As of now, Marin has not made a public statement regarding her divorce from Randall Sommer.
