The Minister of the Environment, Marina Silva, was admitted to a hospital in Brasilia on suspicion of malaria. She had a malaise this Monday afternoon (13) and will be observed in the coming days.

The region is in a health emergency due to cases of malaria among the indigenous people. Hundreds of people have fallen victim to the disease, which has caused the death of children in recent years.
