“It is with great regret that I inform you of theyet another inaccuracy declared by our mayor”. These are the words of minority councilor Mario Mantovanin a counter-post on social media in response to the mayor’s post on the announcement of the works at the sports citadel.
“The mayor – writes Mantovan to the opposition – has declared that the 4.5 million euro loan for the sports citadel it was granted to zero interest rate. A completely false statement: in January, in fact, I requested access to the mortgage repayment plan and discovered that the interest rate was 5.027%”.
“We therefore discover that the expenditure borne by citizens will be over 7.9 million in totalincluding interest” Mantovan writes in the note, attaching as evidence the summary plan and the simulation of the amortization plan.
“I believe it is essential and fundamental that citizens always know the truth and I don’t understand the reason for these incorrect disclosures; I hope our mayor will do a best job in the region compared to what has been done for our city”.
