“Raphael is my little brother.

They pet him, because he was the best person to everyone who knew him.

Ralph loved to cook, water ski at the lake and snowboard in the deep powder of the Chic-Chocs.

He loved his Gaspésie, the chalet and had an endless passion for butter.

He was generous, friendly, hardworking, sensitive and above all very fat. His intensity and passion was a spectacular display of fireworks.

He had a kind ear for anyone who wanted to confide in him and he told stories like no one else.

He was funny, cheerful, good company.

Raphaël was good at everything: from violin to karate to speed skating, football, unicycling, circus arts, golf, and even housekeeping.

What he liked above all was his blonde Val and her child, Charlot Chien, his family and his friends.

Unfortunately, Raphael had great suffering within. He struggled with an addiction disorder for several years.

He decided to end it on July 9.

We lack words to express the emptiness and pain we feel.

Hope your heart is lighter where you are.”

Our heartfelt condolences to Maripier and his family.
