The doctor Marisa Crespo Leirocardiologist at the University Hospital Complex A Corua (Chuac), has been electedelected vice president of the Spanish Society of Cardiology during the General Assembly held within the framework of the SEC23 Cardiovascular Health Congress.
At this event, the results of the voting for the organization’s positions were announced, among which Ignacio Fernández Lozano, from the Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda University Hospital, also stands out, who has been elected as president; and Roco Garca Orta, from the Virgen de las Nieves University Hospital in Granada, as general secretary.
In addition, there have also been changes in the positions of representative member of the Subsidiary Societies, a position that is now occupied by José Tun Fernández, of the Fundacin Jimnez Díaz University Hospital; and as a representative member of Young Cardiologists, with Cristina Lozano Granero, from the Ramn y Cajal Hospital in Madrid.
Marisa Crespo, head of the heart failure section of the aforementioned hospital, is a world reference in the field of heart failure and heart transplantation.
