Mariya Takeuchi has announced her first nationwide arena tour in 11 years, titled “Daiwa Securities Group Presents ‘souvenir2025 mariya takeuchi live’ supported by airweave.”
Originally, Takeuchi was set to conduct her national arena tour “souvenir2021 mariya takeuchi live” starting in April 2021, with 13 performances across six cities; however, all performances were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, preventing her from appearing before fans. The announcement of this tour can be seen as a long-awaited comeback after four years, and it is certainly joyous news for fans who were moved to tears by the cancellation at that time.
The newly announced tour schedule will kick off with the first performance on April 15, 2025, at Port Messe Nagoya’s First Exhibition Hall and will continue to K Arena Yokohama until June 25, covering 14 performances in eight cities nationwide.
It has been 11 years since Mariya Takeuchi held her last tour in 2014, which was a nationwide tour titled “souvenir2014” to celebrate her 35th anniversary. The 2014 tour included nine performances in six cities: Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Sendai, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka, but this time it adds two additional cities—Nagoya and Yokohama—bringing the total to 14 performances across eight cities, making for a more powerful event than before.
Mariya Takeuchi will also release her first original album in ten years, “Precious Days,” on October 23. This first-press edition will include a “Magic Card” allowing for pre-sale applications for this arena tour. Don’t miss the chance to secure premium tickets early.
