Marley Harris wanted to manage rock concerts, now it’s vaccination campaigns in Berlin

by time news

BerlinMarley Harris was one of the people who had lost their job due to the Corona crisis. After completing his apprenticeship as a specialist in event technology, he had hardly started at a Kreuzberg event agency when the pandemic set in and the entire industry was shut down in one fell swoop. For Harris that meant nine months of short-time work until the company went bankrupt in December. Months later, Harris plays a central role in the Berlin vaccination campaign. He works for the Malteser Aid Service and is the head of logistics at the vaccination center on the Berlin exhibition grounds. In mid-September he and his team organized offers as part of the vaccination campaign week, and for a short time now he has also been responsible for the Malteser’s mobile vaccination offers. He was responsible for the conception of the new vaccination buses.
