jpnn.comSACHSENRING – Gresini Racing racers supported by Federal Oil, Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez are determined to appear aggressive in the main race session of the German MotoGP, Sunday (7/7).
Previously, the Marquez duo were able to perform impressively in the qualifying session and Sprint Race of the German MotoGP, Saturday (6/7).
From the qualifying results, Alex Marquez and Mac Marquez will start from 5th and 13th positions.
Alex had an issue during the qualifying session, he was thrown from his Ducati Desmosedici GP23 motorbike which caused him to experience pain in his neck due to the impact.
Continuing in qualifying, Marc was blocked by another rider who was on the racing line during the last lap, so he could not maximize his time in Q1.
During the Sprint Race, Marc Marquez could smile a little because the Ducati Desmosedici GP23 motorbike was able to bring him to finish in sixth position from a 13th start.
Meanwhile, Alex Marquez had trouble maintaining his starting position of 5, but was still lucky to secure points by finishing in ninth position.
“Starting from 13th here is a problem, because even if you like this track, there are only two places where you can overtake. The weekend was not good from yesterday afternoon onwards. We will try to put in another good performance on Sunday, but finishing sixth today is a good sign.”
