The initiative was implemented at the organizational level, where 296 beneficiaries were welcomed and cared for. Various activities were organized for their benefit, including support and psychological assistance sessions, social support, medical consultations, and the provision of complete kits (clothing).
Supervised by a team of specialists from the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, including doctors, general practitioners, nurses, social workers, and psychological support workers, this human-centered initiative is part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to aid and support those affected by the earthquake, in accordance with His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s High Instructions.
The initiative also benefited schoolgirls residing at “Dar Sraghna,” who received medical consultations in general medicine, ophthalmology, and dentistry, followed by the distribution of medication and corrective glasses provided by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
Souad Boulouiz, project manager at the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, stated that the Foundation remains mobilized, utilizing its human and logistical resources to support the affected populations. This includes offering assistance to students who were displaced by the earthquake and are now accommodated in reception facilities in Marrakech.
The Foundation has established a program to provide medical and psychological support, as well as essential supplies such as medicines, food, and clothing, to these students.
According to Mrs. Boulouiz, the program has benefited 1,169 students (both boys and girls) since its inception. The objective of this program is to help these students recover from the crisis caused by the earthquake and return to school.
