During this ceremony, chaired by the wali of the Marrakech-Safi region, governor of the prefecture of Marrakech, Farid Chourak, in the presence of representatives of the judicial authorities, heads of external services, local elected officials and stakeholders from society. civil service, 27 law enforcement officers were installed.
Alongside these new appointments, an internal transfer movement was carried out concerning seven territorial managers.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Chourak indicated that this transfer movement is part of a series of measures aimed at strengthening the human resources of the Ministry of the Interior within the authority body. , taking into account the central role played by this body in the application of the concept of public service based on the principles of general interest, integrity, spatial justice and social cohesion.
He underlined, in this regard, the constant mobilization of the authorities to respond to the needs of citizens, support the overall development process of the Kingdom and the annual implementation of the strategy of the Ministry of the Interior aimed at preparing and periodically identifying new generations of local officials to be appointed in the different prefectures and provinces of the Kingdom to support the various development projects and improve the daily lives of citizens.
In this context, Mr. Chourak noted that authority agents are called upon to adhere to the policy of proximity and openness to all social categories, to strengthen the feeling of confidence in institutions, to listen to grievances and concerns of citizens, to develop a national development model capable of meeting challenges and constraints, to achieve spatial and social justice, to strengthen the principle of the correlation between responsibility and accountability and to vigorously engage in construction sites opened in all areas, notably strategic Royal construction sites.
He also highlighted the role of agents of authority in the implementation of the economic project in order to contribute to creating a climate favorable to investment, inspire confidence in economic actors, resolve social conflicts, demonstrate initiative and innovation to improve productivity, explore promising sectors and anticipate problems before they arise.
Mr. Chourak noted that those responsible for the management of local affairs, in particular territorial administrations, judicial bodies, security services, decentralized services of government sectors and elected councils, are called upon to continue to apply the High Instructions. Royal in order to complete the reform process, achieve a global take-off, develop a national development model capable of meeting the challenges and constraints facing the Kingdom, achieve spatial and social justice and improve the living conditions of all Moroccans .
It should be remembered that the transfer movement in the ranks of authority agents, carried out by the Ministry of the Interior, concerned 592 agents, or 23% of the total number of this body of the Territorial Administration.
