At the national level as well as at the level of the prefecture of Marrakech, the projects carried out by the Initiative currently in its 3rd phase, and which are dedicated to guaranteeing a dignified life for the targeted people, by fully committing to their training and emancipation at different levels, are not lacking. The striking illustration of the interest of the INDH for these pressing social issues is the Multidisciplinary Social Complex built at Hay El Koudia.

This inclusive structure, perfectly integrated into its environment, is also eloquent testimony to the local approach so advocated by the Initiative, based on its approach of always listening to citizens, ready to respond to their needs and aspirations, while basing itself on a careful analysis of the reality on the ground, obviously taking into account the specificities of each territory.

With a total amount of 4,300,000 DH, including 1 million DH provided by the INDH and dedicated to equipment, and 3,300,000 DH supported by the Solidarity Fund for Housing (FSH) (construction work provided by Al-Omrane), this multidisciplinary social complex is built according to the most demanding standards in the field, while combining tradition and modernity, so as to provide beneficiaries with incredible comfort and all the necessary conditions for quality learning and training.

Supervised and managed by the Regional Coordination of National Mutual Aid, this Complex sets itself the mission, among others, of offering a training space intended for women in difficult situations, and of contributing to strengthening their capacities and emancipating them, with a view to their economic inclusion.

Registered within the framework of program 2 “Support for people in precarious situations” of Phase 3 of the INDH, this Social Complex which benefits some 200 beneficiaries annually, offers quality training in the professions of modern and traditional sewing, hairdressing and beauty, culinary art and pastry making, in addition to computer training, the fight against illiteracy, awareness and sensitization.

Built on two floors, this multidisciplinary Social Complex includes three rooms dedicated to preschool education, a space (3 rooms) dedicated to children with disabilities, a room for first aid, administrative outbuildings, and training and professional qualification workshops among others.

Speaking to M24, the MAP continuous news television channel, Ibtissam Semmate, head of the Hay Koudia Social Complex, recalled that this structure, which was created thanks to the joint efforts of Entraide Nationale and INDH, officially opened its doors in October 2022, for the benefit of the women and young children of Hay El Koudia who have found a real space for fulfillment there.

At the same time, she reviewed a number of training courses provided within this Center, which also has a space dedicated to children in the neighborhood, those who are in precarious situations and who therefore benefit from a number of services offered.

Ms. Semmate did not fail to point out that the Multidisciplinary Social Center also includes a listening unit, capable of providing better support and regular monitoring of women in precarious situations or those who are victims of violence.

She also expressed her gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the High Solicitude with which the Sovereign continues to surround all social classes, particularly those in precarious situations, and for the efforts undertaken by the Kingdom to promote their socio-economic conditions and guarantee them a decent life.

These multidisciplinary Social Complexes play a major role, as demonstrated by the significant number of people who benefit from training in many professions, which will ultimately enable them to better integrate into professional and family life, she concluded.
