Regional Youth Economic Inclusion and Entrepreneurship Forum Kicks Off in Marrakech
In partnership with the Marrakech Prefecture, the Marrakech-Safi region’s provinces, the Regional Investment Center (CRI), and the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) partner organizations, a forum to enhance the income and economic inclusion of young people kicked off in Marrakech.
The event brings together 83 exhibitors, comprising 1,663 young entrepreneurs who have benefited from the entrepreneurship support program, alongside 601 cooperatives and small and medium-sized enterprises that have received income improvement support.
“This forum offers a platform for sharing successful experiences and best practices among young project leaders and businesses,” said Ms. Souad Zaghloul, Head of the Income Improvement and Economic Inclusion of Youth program in the Marrakech-Safi wilaya.
The forum aims to highlight the progress made under the INDH’s regional initiatives and provide a space for stakeholders to discuss challenges and opportunities in entrepreneurship and economic inclusion.
Enactus-Maroc’s regional coordinator, Hassan Chakroun, emphasized that the forum provides an opportunity for young people in the region to learn from successful experiences supported by the INDH and its partners.
The Regional Youth Economic Inclusion and Entrepreneurship Forum coincides with the 2023 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund in Marrakech, serving as a platform to foster dialogue on these issues.
