The 24th round of the French league continues today (Sunday) with the exception of the big game in which Paris Saint-Germain beat Lille 3:4, Monaco recorded a fourth consecutive victory with a 1:2 over Brest and clung to the top. Lance won 1:3 over Nantes and Reims came back to win with 0:2 over Clermont. At the end of a great game, Marseille beat Toulouse 2:3.
Toulouse-Marseille 3:2
La Fussian continued their good performance with a third win in a row in all competitions. It didn’t start well for Igor Tudor’s side as they fell behind early to a 3rd-minute goal from Thies Dallinga, but a superb second half and goals from Chancel Ambamba, Genghis Onder and Nuno Tavares gave the visitors three valuable points in their title clash with Paris Saint-Germain. Reman, Edo Onayo only managed to shrink to Toulouse. On the other hand, the host, who came into the game with good momentum with two consecutive victories, was stopped.
Brest – Monaco 2:1
Philippe Clement’s team is in a great time for them. Right from the start Monaco controlled the ball and got into good situations and in the 40th minute Alexander Golovin found the net. The guest continued to dominate and in the 73rd minute, Myron Bouadeau doubled and brought Monaco closer to three more points. Lance – Nantes 1:3
After four games without a win and losing height in the table, Lance returned to winning. A quick goal blitz within three minutes from Deliver Machado and Adrian Thomason gave the Red Yellows a promising lead, but Florent Mola was able to pull away five minutes later for the visitors. The second half was rhythmic and in the 73rd minute Charles Traore scored an own goal and sealed the result of the game. Lance will hope to embark on a new path when she is in fourth place, on the other hand, precisely after two victories, Nantes has stopped and could get into trouble at the bottom.
Run – Clermont 0:2
The Red and Blacks also managed to come back and win after a bad period with three losses in all competitions.
