The Uruguayan drug trafficker, Sebastian Marsetreleased a video to the Bolivian press on Wednesday, in which he made an incendiary statement: a high-ranking anti-drug trafficker from that country would have helped him escape.

“Thanks to the help of the FELCN director I managed to leave, because he told me that the minister had already issued an arrest warrant against me,” Marset said in a video sent to Bolivian lawyer Jessica Echeverría, specialized in social causes. “And well, he grabbed a little plate and told me to leave, he is the director of the FELCN,” she added.

“Since he didn’t do things right, he’s bothering innocent people who have nothing to do with it. I want that to be known, ”he added in more statements that point against the hierarch.

Marset acknowledges that his current situation is “complicated”, since more than 2,500 police officers in Boliviawhile the INTERPOL and the authorities of all the countries of the region are in a constant state of alert.

After the video went viral, the director of the Special Force to Fight Drug Trafficking, Ismael VillcaHe responded by denying everything.

“I strongly reject that information. My work at FELCN is neat and impeccablethey are disinformation operations… The work of the FELCN and this server is faultless,” said the authority in an interview with the local channel Unitel.

And he remarked: “I deny, I flatly reject, that is why we are going to continue with the planned operations, with the objective of capturing it. I ask the population to collaborate with us… I am subject to everything, willing to do anything, but the intention of this type of situation is to weaken, to create chaos”.
