jpnn.comJAKARTA – Chairman of the Election Winning Agency (Bappilu) of the Democratic Party DPP, Andi Arief, stated that regional head candidates should not be underestimated.
This was in response to questions about the reasons his party supported the Riza Patria-Marshel Widianto pair in the South Tangerang Pilkada.
“Mr. Riza Patria has good electability, later we will see about Mr. Marshel,” said Andi who was met at the DPP Demokrat, Saturday (20/7).
Andi then also asked the public not to underestimate Marshel’s abilities.
According to him, everyone who has good intentions for society must be supported.
“So, yes, we give people the opportunity to do good for society. Don’t underestimate it,” said Andi.
“There are people who are thought to be able to work well, but not necessarily able to work well. Maybe this controversy can be proven, if he wins he can prove it all. What is important is that he meets the requirements,” concluded Andi Arief.
Previously, the Democratic Party’s DPP officially supported Riza Patria-Marshel Widianto to advance in the 2024 South Tangerang City Pilkada.
