jpnn.comSRAGEN – A 16-year-old martial arts student with the initials JAP in Sragen, Central Java, died after taking part in training in the yard of Gilirejo Elementary School, Miri District, Saturday (13/7).
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Sragen Police, AKP Wikan Sri Kadiyono in Sragen, Sunday, confirmed the incident.
“He died during training on Saturday (13/7) night,” he said.
AKP Wikan said that JAP was taking part in training and was hit in the chest until he fell and fainted.
“The Miri resident was given something to drink, then taken to the hospital. When checked at Gemolong Hospital, he had died,” he said.
In relation to the incident, his party has examined a number of witnesses who were participating in the training at the time of the incident.
“Witnesses have been questioned, including those who participated in the training there. We questioned six people, all of whom we asked for information,” he said.
So far, his party has not been able to determine the cause of the victim’s death, including the possibility of internal injuries.
