Beaumont, TX – Country music icon Martina McBride will deliver a highly anticipated performance at teh 43rd Annual CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Foundation Gala on Saturday, April 11, at the Beaumont Civic Centre. The black-tie event aims to raise critical funds for lifesaving equipment and services at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System facilities.
A Legacy of Song and Philanthropy
McBride’s career spans three decades,beginning with early performances alongside her family band in Sharon,Kansas.She relocated to Nashville in 1990, securing a record deal with RCA in 1991 and launching her career with the release of her debut album in 1992. Hits like “My Baby Loves Me” and “Independence day” quickly propelled her to national prominence.
Throughout her career, McBride has consistently earned accolades, including multiple CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year awards. She is a celebrated member of the Grand Ole Opry and was recognized with the ACM Cliffie Stone Icon Award in 2019 for her enduring impact on country music. In 2021, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum honored her with “The Power of Her Voice,” an exhibit dedicated to her extraordinary career. McBride is also widely recognized as a strong advocate for women within the country music industry.
