Maruti Suzuki, India’s leading automobile maker, started bookings for the 2022 Baleno model on February 7. The booking fee for the new Baleno model is Rs. Was fixed at 11 thousand. During the price announcement of this model, Maruti Suzuki said that the new Baleno facelift model has surpassed 25 thousand units in pre-order.
This premium hatchback model is introduced in this segment with various first time features. It also features an advanced K series dual jet engine and idle start-stop technology. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno model is powered by a 1.2 liter dual VVT petrol engine. This engine produces 89 bhp. Power, 113 Newton meters expressing torque.
Its manual transmission delivers 23.5 kilometers per liter and the AGS version 22.94 kilometers per liter. The new Baleno model is available in six colors – Nexa Blue, Abulent Red, Grandier Gray, Lux Pike, Spent Silver and Arctic White. The car comes with a head-up display and a 360-degree camera.
Also the next generation Suzuki Connect Telematics system with more than 40 connectivity features according to the variant, 9 inch Smartplay Pro Plus infotainment system, HD display, 6 airbags, 16 inch precision cut alloy wheels, LEDs. Projector headlamps, auto climate control, auto dimming IRVMs are provided.
The cabin has been completely redesigned and offered with a 9-inch Advanced Smart Play Pro stand alone touch screen unit. It has a completely new interface, sharp and crisp graphics. Apple has CarPlay and Android auto connectivity. It also comes with Alexa Assistance, Wireless Charging, ARKAMYS Tuning New Sound System and various other features.
In the Indian market, the new Baleno model competes with the Hyundai i20, Tata Ultros, Honda Jazz and Volkswagen Polo.
