Have you heard what we announced last month? The Marvel’s Spider-Man series is coming to PC soon, and we can’t be more excited that a new group of players will be able to experience the game!
The Insomniac Games team is proud to be working with our PlayStation Studios partners and experienced PC development team Nixxes Software on the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man. This is the brainchild of our past year, and today we are finally able to reveal details about the features and enhancements here, so you can learn more about the highlights of the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, which launches on August 12. There are also surprise details for pre-orders at the end of this article, please keep reading!
First up is the new graphics features of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for PC. Our goal is to make this game visually flawless on the PC platform, so we also take into account PC users with a variety of hardware, provide them with extensive customization, and introduce new technologies and tools to break through limit. The main highlights are briefly listed below:
- This game uses ray-traced reflections, and players can experience upgraded visual effects on hardware that supports this feature. Reflection also has different levels of options, one of which is a new high-quality ray tracing mode that allows you to provide more detailed cityscapes as you swing and fight crime in Marvel New York City.
- NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) uses the GeForce RTX GPU dedicated Tensor Core AI processor to improve graphics performance, increasing frame rates without sacrificing image quality.
- NVIDIA DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing) is an AI-based anti-aliasing mode for GeForce RTX players who have GPU headroom and pursue higher image quality.
- In addition to being able to choose the output resolution, we also support a variety of aspect ratios, including ultra-wide 21:9, panoramic 32:9, and NVIDIA Surround multi-screen settings. * If the player has three monitors, this game is your chance to show your talents!
- Many other rendering systems are also more customizable than ever, offering more options for varying degrees of quality and rendering, including SSAO, texture filtering, LoD quality, shadows, and more. We support windowed, full screen and exclusive full screen rendering modes.
In addition to PC graphics capabilities, a variety of peripherals and customization options are available. With support for the PlayStation DualSense wireless controller, PC gamers will be able to experience adaptive trigger feedback and haptic responses when battling classic Marvel villains. ** Mouse and keyboard support, both in gameplay and UI operations, also provides distinct customization options for players who prefer this style of control. With the support of Steam Input, this game has a large number of reconfigured button options available, as well as a variety of helper functions. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will also support achievements and cloud saves on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
