Tirunelveli: The Marxist Communist Party (MCP) staged a protest on Tuesday in Washermenpet, Tirunelveli.
KG Baskaran, a member of the state committee, led the protest, which called for the cancellation of admissions to central universities and the abandonment of the Hindi dump. District Executive Committee Members M. Sudalairaj, S. Perumal, District Committee Members K. Palani, A. Murugan, Area Secretaries Muthusubramanian, Narayanan, Kulantaivel and District Secretary K. Sriram spoke.
District Committee Members Jothi, SK Senthil, Tamil Nadu Untouchability Eradication Front State Committee Member Pooja Gopalan, E-Theater Intermediate Committee Member Commander and many others participated.
