Mashina, the band whose songs we all grew up with came to Ashdod in a crazy show called CELEBRATION. Residents of Ashdod and the surrounding area who came to the show enjoyed a real celebration and electrifying energy. Two hours of the music we grew up listening to on home tapes and radio channels. The show was a pure pleasure of all the hits that bring each of us back to magical moments from childhood
Already from the first song, the entire audience was on its feet, Meshina’s party opened with the song “Optician Meduplam”, and continued with the best hits such as “Ballad for a double agent” and “Anna”, “In our streets, “The stars are lit on a small fire”, “Send me Malach “The night train to Cairo”, “My beloved”, “I will wait for you in the fields” and another selection of songs from the rich repertoire of a band that is all legend..
Throughout the show, you could give up the amphitheater seats in Ashdod, you could see everyone dancing to the rhythmic music, trumpets and favorite songs.
Banai points out “Love is the engine of life and all you need is to love, and adds “The reason we called the show “Celebration” is a celebration, because it’s a celebration of sleep, it’s a celebration of songs, it’s a celebration of friendship. It’s a celebration of the time we’re together, a celebration of love.” And so Banai and the band members sing, dance and fill the audience with crazy ergies and lots of love.
In conclusion, this is an exciting show with a nostalgic flavor, an extraordinary experience that takes you back to the time of your youth in the 90s with songs that, despite the distance in time, still sound great in the current period.
On a personal note – want to buy a ticket in any way possible for the current round. A must see for anyone who grew up listening to the music of one of the best bands in Israel.
