“Mask Singer”: disguised as a Husky, singer Vincent Niclo wins season 5 on TF1

A camel, a husky and a doe. This was the poster for the finale of the fifth season of “Mask Singer”, broadcast this Friday, June 2 on TF1. For the occasion, like every year, the last three characters were able to sing a duet with former participants. Starting with the Elephant, alias Keen’V, for a cover of “Casser la voix” by Patrick Bruel alongside the Husky. La Biche interpreted “Fich’le camp Jack” by Richard Anthony, the French version of “Hit the Road Jack”, in the company of Laurent Maistret, disguised as a Knight.

Finally, the Camel ventured on “Sous le vent” by Garou and Céline Dion in the company of last year’s winner, the singer Amaury Vassili in the costume of the Turtle. But that was not enough for the two-humped animal to win. More funny than gifted for singing, the character was the first eliminated of the evening. And if Élodie Frégé hoped to find Inès Reg and Kévin Debonne, the rest of the investigators, like the previous winner, got it right since it was indeed the influencers Nico and Daniela Capone. “I am happy that you are on this show because there are a lot of people who are not on the networks and all these people will be able to discover how extraordinary you are”, enthused Kev Adams.

Then, at the end of the show, the public chose to make the Husky triumph over the Biche. A little relief in the end for the investigators, lost on the name of this female voice. Among the tracks: Nâdiya, Cathy Guetta, Mia Frye, Sofia Essaïdi or even Priscilla Betti. Finally, Élodie Frégé and Jeff Panacloc were all good since it was… Aurélie Konaté, candidate for the “Star Academy” in 2002. A disappointing name on paper with a CV, however, filled with telecrochet, dubbing, comedy in “Camping Paradis” or various shows. “It was a real challenge for me to sing again after ten years of non-singing, explained the unfortunate finalist. For me, I have won everything! »

But the real winner of the show is therefore the Husky. He was quickly identified by most of the jurors in the person of Vincent Niclo. “I should have trusted myself: it was the first name I registered! “, dropped Élodie Frégé. “I’m a little sad that it’s over,” admitted the winning singer. I really got into the game. I learned a lot about myself. And I really had a blast! Finally, maybe I was a rocker who didn’t know himself! »

And if he hadn’t triggered his “golden prono” on the canine, Kev Adams this year dethroned Jeff Panacloc in the competition for pseudo-detectives: he managed to unmask the Camel but also the Caterpillar (André Bouchet, alias Passe-Partout), the Zebra (Cartman), the Witch (Zaho) et the Carnivore Plant (Tina Arena).
