People in Syria found a mass grave in the vicinity of the Ninth Division in the city of Al-Sanamayn in the northern countryside of Daraa Governorate in southern Syria.
Daraa 24 news website reported on its Facebook account on Friday-Saturday night that the cemetery that the residents found last Friday evening had been excavated, and it turned out that what remained of the buried bodies were only bones and remnants of clothing.
He pointed out that the bodies date back more than 10 years, pointing to a similar incident last December 16, when residents found a mass grave in Al-Kuwaiti Farm on the outskirts of the city of Izra in the central countryside of Daraa. “The area was under the control of a militia affiliated with the Military Security Branch, and it was exhumed.” 31 bodies, including women and children.”
He explained that these bodies were buried the day before Thursday in the Martyrs’ Cemetery on the Sheikh Miskin-Izra Road. The website revealed that a mass grave was also found on the 21st of last month in the vicinity of the village of Umm Al-Qusour, located on the administrative border between Daraa and the Damascus countryside.
