Two videos of Delhi government minister and Aam Aadmi Party member Satyendra Jain being ‘massaged’ in Tihar Jail are going viral on social media.
Satyendra Jain was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on May 30 in a money laundering case.
In the CCTV footage of Satyendra Jain’s cell in Tihar Jail, one can clearly see Satyendra Jain lying on the bed looking at some papers and a person massaging his feet.
The Superintendent of Delhi’s Tihar Jail was sacked this week for treating Satyendra Jain like a VIP.
After the release of Satyendra Jain’s video, BJP has started attacking Aam Aadmi Party. The attack continues despite the Aam Aadmi Party saying that he is unwell and doctors have advised him to undergo physiotherapy.
BJP IT wing chief Amit Malviya said that Kejriwal has turned Tihar Jail into a massage parlor.
“Arvind Kejriwal has turned Tihar into a massage parlour. Imprisoned Minister Satyendara Jain is close to Delhi Chief Minister so he gets a masseur. He is being given massage services in violation of prison rules. Tihar Jail is under Delhi Govt. They have come to change corrupt politics,” he tweeted. .
BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia and Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta jointly held a press conference.
Kelurao Bhatia then leveled several serious allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party. He also attacked Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
After watching this video, Gaurav Bhatia said that this is not Aam Aadmi Party, it should be called ‘bad money party’.
“Today Satyendra Jain is in jail. All facilities are provided to the corrupt minister in jail, in violation of all norms and tight security. A prisoner is given a massage in the jail. The corrupt and dishonest minister in jail is provided with all facilities in jail. Kejriwal himself, V.V.I.P. You said that you will destroy culture. But you give various facilities to the accused. Why is that?” asked Kelurao Bhatia.
Accusing the Aam Aadmi Party of abuse of power, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said, “Satyendra Jain is happy in jail, he has not served his sentence.”
“Satyendra Jain gets VVIP facility instead of punishment. Massage in Tihar Jail? Money launderer gets head massage after five months of non-bail. Aam Aadmi Party violates prison rules. Position misused for extortion and massage. Thanks Kejriwal ,” he tweeted.
Aam Aadmi Party’s Deceptive Name – Congress
Congress leader Alka Lamba has also raised questions about Satyendra Jain’s video. He posted on Twitter, “These are the VVIP facilities provided to Aam Aadmi Party fake names in Delhi Tihar Jail.”
In another tweet, Alka Lamba, who posted the video, made serious allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party. He mentioned that Satyendra Jain was getting five star facilities in the jail.
He said that Kejriwal should immediately remove Satyendra Jain from the post of minister.
Manish Sisodia’s response
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has said that the BJP has been conspiring for the last 6 months to implicate Satyendra Jain in a false case.
“Be it a prime minister or a person in jail, anyone can get sick. Treatment may be required. “It is a very bad thing for the BJP to politicize one’s health,” he said.
“Sathyendra Jain has fallen down in jail. As a result, his spinal cord has been injured. He was admitted to the hospital and underwent two surgeries. A nerve block was implanted after surgery. Doctors have written in the report that he needs proper physiotherapy,” Manish Sisodia said.

The Delhi Deputy Chief Minister said that there is a provision in the law to treat a sick person. “The court ordered the Enforcement Directorate not to release that video. But the Enforcement Directorate has leaked the video due to a BJP conspiracy. The video was leaked illegally,” Manish Sisodia said.
Allegations brought before the court by the Enforcement Directorate
Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, who appeared in the court on behalf of the Enforcement Department, had alleged during the last hearing that Satyendra Jain was getting special facilities in the jail.
“Unidentified persons were massaging Jain’s feet. They were seen when there was no ‘meeting time’. Special food was also arranged for Jain,” he told the court.
Enforcement Directorate advocate Satyendra Jain also presented some videos to the court. The Aam Aadmi Party has accused the BJP of taking these videos from the enforcement department and releasing them.

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Satyendra Jain on May 30 after raiding places associated with him in Delhi.
Apart from Delhi’s home and health departments, Satyendra Jain is also responsible for energy, public works, industries, urban development, floods, irrigation and water resources.
On 25 August 2017, the CBI registered a money laundering case against Satyendra Jain. The Enforcement Directorate also registered a case against Jain based on this FIR. In 2018, the ED also interrogated him in connection with the case.
The Enforcement Directorate alleges that Satyendra Jain was unable to tell where the money he invested to buy shares in four companies came from.
