“When I lost my sight when I was a teenager, I felt very alone. If there had been a Barbie with a cane then, it would have been easier for me to deal with my blindness,” Lucy Edwards, a British consultant with more than 1.8 million Tiktok followers, launched the doll.
The first Barbie was produced in 1959. Since then, there have been ongoing discussions about whether the doll portrays an unrealistic and partial body image. Barbie has done many different jobs. They now come with different features.
