I’m Mattman.” It’s the comment that accompanies an Instagram photo that ‘Friends’ star Matthew Perry shared a few days before his death tonight. The image, the last of the 54-year-old actor on social media, dates back to October 23, and shows him immersed in the water of a swimming pool, at night, with audio headphones on. The actor stands at the corner of the pool, his eyes are closed and the moon stands out in the sky, partly covered by clouds.
The same day, the actor shared a video of the moon, making a strange reference to Batman. “Do you understand what I’m trying to tell you? – I’m Mattman,” wrote Perry. It’s difficult to guess who the message was addressed to, which will now remain unanswered.
