Karki’s early writings of short stories, drama, poetry and novels are all famous. Maxim Gorky was born in 1868 in a poor family in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. He lost his father when he was 5 years old. Mother also passed away at the age of 11. He grew up in the care of his grandmother. Unable to go to school due to poverty, he went to work from the age of 8. While working, he learned Russian, French, Italian, English and German languages by himself.
