Reality television stars Maxime Lubian and Sophia Mansouri have publicly confirmed their romance on Instagram, sharing romantic photographs and playful declarations that connect their respective journeys through the hit French survival franchise.
French reality television history features plenty of strategic alliances on remote beaches, but one of its most recent pairings developed entirely off-camera. Maxime Lubian, a communications manager currently appearing in the All Stars edition on TF1, and Sophia Mansouri, an independent sports coach who competed on the program in 2024, have officially confirmed they are in a relationship following months of quiet romance during the summer of 2025.
Maxime Lubian and Partner Share Romantic Getaway Photos
The couple shared a joint post on Instagram featuring a carousel of romantic images documenting their time together during a weekend getaway. The visual story included a horseback ride, an urban stroll near the Eiffel Tower, a mountain ridge embrace, a simulated balancing act on wooden posts recalling a classic franchise challenge, and a sunset beach dance where both wore matching white outfits.
Maxime Lubian said, I have found the Heart of the Ocean, the one that Rose abandoned to the depths of the sea. Today, it rests in my hands, like a treasure that time had hidden 💎
according to Télé Star.
Mansouri replied in the comments section with her own reference to the dynamics of competitive survival and personal trust before adding three white hearts.
Franchise Paths of Maxime and Sophia
Although the couple never shared a season during actual production, the shared crucible of the adventure series served as the common denominator for their introduction. Mansouri appeared during the spring 2024 season on the Caramoan peninsula, where she survived 39 days without receiving a single vote against her at any tribal council. She finished last in a crucial immunity test that kept her from the finale, later serving as the ninth member of the final jury.
Maxime Lubian traveled to the Philippines approximately six months later to film an anniversary All Stars edition. Representing the eastern region of France, the communications professional was eliminated on his 33rd day following a high-stakes elimination trial. His performance across the series made him a familiar face to viewers currently watching the ongoing television broadcast.
Personal Reinvention Following the Island
For Mansouri, the physical and mental demands of the survival show triggered a profound personal realignment away from television cameras. Returning from her 39 days in the wilderness, she made the decision to leave the father of her child, describing the experience as an electrostatic shock that provided absolute clarity concerning her personal boundaries and future direction.
Balancing life as a solo mother to a five-year-old daughter, she focused on her professional pursuits as a sports coach. In April 2026, she published her first instructional guide dedicated to strengthening exercises and fitness routines. Meeting Maxime during the summer of 2025 introduced a new dynamic to an established equilibrium built around personal independence.
