The French swordsman lost by nothing in the final of the World Championships in Cairo against the legend Aron Szilagyi.
The French Maxime Pianfetti, 23, became vice-champion of the saber world, losing a single touch in the final Monday in Cairo. The Tarbes swordsman lost (15-14) to Hungarian Aron Szilagyi, triple Olympic champion, who won the first individual world title of his career at the age of 32. Pianfetti won his first senior medal.
