Maxus MIFA 9 in EuroNCAP, that’s how safe the electric minivan is. And it is that the model has already landed in our country, thanks to Maxus Automotive Spain. The first units are available, and with it the possibility of testing this electric car in minivan format. But before getting on it, you can see it in the EuroNCAP tests and thus assess its level of safety.
The new model has a 100% electric motor that develops 245 horsepower and 350 Nm of maximum torque and that is combined with an automatic gearbox. Mounts front-wheel drive system, not being able to buy a variant with all-wheel drive. It uses a battery with a capacity of 90 kWh for a range of 435 km according to the WLTP approval cycle, and up to 580 km if we pay attention to the WLTP City.

And thanks to the fact that the Maxus MIFA 9 has an important technological arsenal that includes several driving assistance systems, it achieves five stars in this crash test. It gets the highest score, receiving 93% in adult safety, and 89% equally when it comes to child occupants. It protects pedestrians by 73% and receives a score of 84% in security systems.

The Maxus electric car has been vetted based on equipment with, among others, car-to-car emergency braking, occupant condition monitoring and lane assist technologies.
