White explained that the municipality was responsible for paying the workers’ salaries and taxes, while a new company was hired.

“After this, the workers have filed lawsuits in court, for debts on their taxes that have not been paid by the company, sThe illustrious Municipality is being sued as a joint debtor,” he added.

The communal chief specified that “to the extent that the demands and their sentences have been notified, each of them have been paid in a timely manner.”

The mayor of San Bernardo pointed out that, although he has not yet been notified of the arrest warrant against him, “I have already instructed the preparation of the decree with number 2916 that mandates the payment established by the Court. Besides, I will prepare an administrative summary to search for possible administrative responsibilities. For this mayor, it is relevant to comply with legal labor obligations to protect the rights of workers.”
