“We have to recover these spaces that crime has been taking over, deconfusing these areas of the city and putting our women and especially our girls, boys and adolescents at risk. The work of our mayor’s office will continue there, every day, 24 hours a day, and with all our support,” said Mayor Gutiérrez.

It was emphasized that people who practice or are in the context of prostitution are considered a focus of attention and protection due to their vulnerability to exploitation. It has been identified that organized crime structures take advantage of these conditions of vulnerability for their illicit activities.

Mayor Gutiérrez expressed the determination to recover these spaces that have been taken over by crime, putting women, girls, boys and adolescents at risk.
