At the end of this period, the work carried out by the three “missionaries” who accompanied the minister on this trip will be evaluated by the government and the inter-union: Jean-Jacques Brot, former prefect of Mayotte, General Lucas Lambert, director of the gendarmerie of the overseas territories and Jean Courtial, State Councilor.

“Let’s hope the state doesn’t make fun of us”

In the entourage of the minister, who left Mayotte on Tuesday evening with the intention of going to the Council of Ministers in Paris on Wednesday at 10am, there was talk of “an agreement in principle on a new method, security measures and a better state ”.

“We hope the state doesn’t make fun of us,” said Fatihou Ibrahime. “This is a job that is done on the basis of trust, we will judge in a month,” he added, believing that “we must give ourselves time to restore trust.”
