Doha: After fierce battles in the Qatar FIFA World Cup, world football stars arrived in Doha under the banner of the same club. The visit is part of the training program of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) players ahead of the season cup match to be held in Riyadh. Today, the stars landed at Hamad International Airport on a special flight of Qatar Airways from Paris. Lionel Messi, Mbappé, Neymar Jr. and Ashraf Hakimi boarded the plane from Paris to welcome Mbappe onboard.
Mbappé is leading each of the players to the plane saying this way… Qatar Airways, welcome onboard… this way… The security officer’s Metro..Metro This Way..was viral in the Doha Metro during the World Cup. Mbappe’s welcome followed the same style. Officials have shared this through the social media pages of PSG and Qatar Airways.
Meanwhile, Qatar Airways and PSG Academy organized a meet and greet program with the players who arrived in Doha. Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Akbar Albakir participated in the event and the stars took selfies with the PSG children in Qatar, signed t-shirts and drew pictures.
They have arrived in Qatar to bless the fans and train ahead of the Riyadh Season Cup, which will be held on the evening of the 19th at the Riyadh King Fahd International Stadium in Saudi Arabia. French champions PSG are facing Saudi’s top clubs Al Hilal and Al Nasser. A training program will be held at the Khalifa International Stadium today from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. The event is open to members of the public who have paid 20 Riyals in advance for tickets. The gates will open from 4 pm.
