The Citizen Movement candidate for mayor of Coyoacán, Sofía Margarita, denounced her opponent Hannah de Lamadrid before the Electoral Institute of Mexico City (IECM), for supposedly anticipated campaign actions.
“Since last November, the current candidate for mayor of Coyoacán for Morena, Hannah de Lamadrid, appeared on banners, fences, canvases and also in digital advertising, which represents an early campaign act,” he said.

Accompanied by the contenders for the local 30th district, Silvana Carranza; To councilors, Carolina Yllán and Edgar Martínez, as well as members and sympathizers of the party in the district, Sofía Margarita said that they will continue their battle against trash politics in the district.
“Giving continuity to what we did at the start of the campaign, we went to the IECM to denounce what we considered to be a violation of the race, since the Morena candidate in November began with banners and banners of the color of the party she represents and her name, but in December we already found flyers with his face and logos of the same party,” he said.

For her part, Carolina Yllán indicated that Movimiento Ciudadano respects the electoral legal framework, which is why they formally began the campaign on March 31, as indicated by law.
