The anniversary is celebrated worldwide
October 5th is the day when employees and managers stand side by side in the kitchen and at the cash registers of the world famous McDonald’s fast food chain to celebrate the birthday of the chain’s founder Ray Kroc, who was born on October 5, 1902.
McDonald’s Founder’s Day is an internal celebration of the chain that honors the contributions of Kroc, the man behind making McDonald’s a world leader in quick service restaurants.
Although McDonald’s was founded by the McDonald brothers, it was Kroc, who joined in the 1950s, who played a key role in the company’s expansion and success.
The anniversary is celebrated worldwide, and in our country – in more than 10 restaurants, with more than 300 employees having the opportunity to receive support and ask their questions directly to the company’s management team.
The managers of all restaurants on this day are committed to actively recalling the core values of McDonald’s by creating a space to share pleasant moments and, of course, delicious food.
Thus, working together allows restaurant managers and teams to bond and express appreciation and encouragement to employees.
A little later, on October 10, is Mental Health Day, and the chain will also celebrate it, because it highlights McDonald’s commitment to the well-being of people – a mission that restaurants have, because caring for employees is their main value.
