The UK’s leading supercar manufacturer has been trying to establish a foothold in India for a long time. With a long-term effort now in hand, McLaren Automotive has officially announced its entry into India’s growing automobile market.
McLaren currently manages automotive business in 40 countries. India is the 41st country where McLaren will open a dealership. The company is set to open its first dealership in Mumbai and is expected to be fully operational from October.
Although foreign automobile companies have set up branches, companies and dealerships in India, not all their models are available for sale. Only a few models are available. However, McLaren has announced that all its models will be available for sale in India.
McLaren is one of the world’s premier and high performance car manufacturers. The world famous McLaren car brand has been replaced by McLaren Automotive over the years.
McLaren GT to debut in India
The McLaren automotive brand is a modified version of the McLaren Formula 1 team founded by Bruce McLaren. The company’s cars are manufactured at the McLaren Technology Center in Woking, Surrey, England.
Speaking on behalf of the world famous supercar manufacturer, Lalit Choudhary said, “McLaren is the epitome of modern, luxury supercar. We are very excited to open the McLaren Retail Experience Center in Mumbai. McLaren customers can easily connect with the brand and become part of the McLaren owner community,” he enthused.
McLaren GT, high-performance hybrid-Artura, 600LT, 720S coupe and Spider 765LT will be introduced at the Mumbai dealership launch in October this year.
