MDA today (Tuesday) marked “The Day of Breakthrough”, which aims to raise awareness for the use of the life-saving device in the public space, without the need for prior medical knowledge or familiarity with the device.
Magen David Adom teams were deployed in the public space and made the device, its purpose and the way it was operated accessible to the public. Many citizens have encountered the defibrillator for the first time in their lives – and learned on the ground how simple actions, without medical knowledge, can save lives and turn tragedy into a miracle.
