Planned as a product that can be easily eaten… Diversified products to meet consumer needs
Scheduled to be released as a Samgyetang suitable for households of 1-2 people to multi-person households

Lotte Mart and Lotte Super are introducing easy-to-enjoy meal kit samgyetang. On the 9th, Lotte Mart and Super announced that they will be holding a discount event on various nutritious foods from the 11th to the 17th targeting the upcoming Chobok period.

Recently, the trend in health food is changing toward one that emphasizes reasonable prices and convenience, and home meal replacement (HMR) and meal kit samgyetang are gaining popularity.

Lotte Mart and Super are said to be launching and selling new products targeting 1-2 person households, such as ‘Nurungji Dak-Baek-Suk’ and ‘One Chicken Kalguksu’. The meal kits are easy to cook by just putting them in a pot and boiling them.

Next, they are said to be introducing three types of reasonably priced retort samgyetang. They are said to have secured a large quantity of young chicken, the main ingredient of samgyetang, in January and February, and are planning to increase the weight while also making it about 25% cheaper than existing products, and are releasing it as ‘Hanwoo Sagol Samgyetang’, ‘Chicken Drum Samgyetang’, and ‘Nahollo Samgyetang’.

In addition, native chickens are also sold. ‘Boknal Native Chicken (1050g)’ is a large native chicken, and is said to be suitable for the whole family to enjoy together. On July 11, ‘Premium Haeshintang (1.2kg/refrigerated)’ will also be newly released. This product, which is generously filled with various health food ingredients such as abalone, chicken, octopus, cuttlefish, crab, and herbal medicine, is being sold at a 5,000 won discount to L.POINT members to commemorate the release.

A Lotte Mart official said, “We have prepared a variety of health food discount events that suit the tastes of customers in line with the Boknal trend. We hope that you will be able to beat the heat with the health food prepared by Lotte Mart and Super during the upcoming Chobok, and we will continue to strive to introduce products that respond quickly to trends in the future.”
