A DJ who abused a woman after a club night while her children were watching a video in the living room has been convicted in the Vienna Regional Court.
A shocking trial unfolded in the Vienna Regional Court when a DJ was accused of abusing a woman after a club night. This happened while her children were watching a video on their cell phones in the living room.
The trial before the Vienna Regional Court sheds light on a shocking incident: a young mother of two primary school-age children was brought home by three men at around 6 a.m. after a long night at a club in Lower Austria. The woman fell into a helpless state after taking several sedative drugs. In this state, one of the visitors attacked, while the young woman’s children were already alert and waiting for their breakfast.
Strange behaviour in court
The DJ, who faced prosecution, said he wanted to borrow the victim’s nose to get a piercing during the incident. He claimed there was only kissing and touching, which she denied. His bizarre explanation also included taking off the woman’s clothes for fun and displaying her in front of his friends.
The man gave his cell phone to the kids to distract them
The woman, who was very intoxicated, had consumed about ten sedative pills. This left them in a completely vulnerable position. While the woman’s children watched the video on their cell phone in the living room, the mother was abused by the DJ in the bedroom. It turned out that the man also gave the children a cell phone so that they could spend their time in it. The attack was confirmed through DNA traces and other evidence in the investigation. Before the incident, the DJ had stolen 60 euros from the woman’s pocket and given her 100 euros. This should have gained her confidence to go to his house later.
In the end, the defendant admitted everything
At the end of the trial the defendant confessed to the crime, which led to a relatively lenient sentence. He was sentenced to 18 months of conditional imprisonment and had to pay compensation of 2,500 euros instead of the requested 5,000 euros. Lawyer, Sascha Flatzwas satisfied with the verdict, although the full claim was not recognized, reports “Kron”.
