The Texas Department of Health announced Tuesday that the number of measures of measles in the state is now 663, an increase of 17 cases since April 25, while the United States has been facing one of the worst flambés of this childhood disease for decades.
In County Gaines, epidere of the epidemic, the number of cases increased to 396, three more than during the last update on Friday, the Texas Department of State Health Services said.
The agency also indicated that 87 patients were hospitalized.
