A 10-year-old girl from Paramakkudi, who won bronze for Tamil Nadu in a national karate competition, was welcomed by members of the public with drumbeats.
Anusree is a 10-year-old girl of Gurunathan-Kavita couple from Paramakkudy in Ramanathapuram district. They participated in the under-10 category on behalf of Tamil Nadu in the national level karate competition held in Delhi last week and won a bronze medal.
Similarly, a 10-year-old boy, Vasant, has won a silver medal in a state-level karate competition. Both participated in the competition and won medals and brought pride to Tamil Nadu.

In this case, the two returned home after winning the medals and the coaches were given a grand welcome on behalf of the Spark Karate organization by family members and relatives wearing garlands and shawls and playing drums on behalf of the public.
