The final countdown begins. The statutory and ethics committee of Medef endorses this Tuesday the list of three candidates authorized to compete at the beginning of July for the succession of Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux at the head of the employers’ organization, after the first two months of a very emollient campaign for the moment.
This period was intended to carry out a first skimming: the contenders had to succeed in this period of gathering 150 sponsorships – out of a total of 560 electors, each of whom could grant up to three votes – to be authorized to participate in the final sprint before the July 6 vote. Hardened conditions compared to the previous election of 2018, when it was enough to support 50 members of the general assembly of Medef.
