The Flower Fair in Medellín has begun. The service will start operating normally at 4:30 a.m. from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays and holidays, it may vary between 5:00, 8:30, and 9:00 in the morning, depending on the line. Between this Friday, August 2, the inauguration day of the fair, and Saturday, August 10, the Metro will operate until midnight. According to the system, the last trains from Niquía and La Estrella will leave at 11:40 p.m.

This extension of hours will apply to lines A and B, the tram, and the aerial cable lines K, M, H, J, and P. This means that the measure will not apply to the Metrocable line L (Arví), bus lines 1, 2, and O, nor to the buses that serve basins 3 and 6.

In the case of the Metrocable line L (Arví), which normally does not operate on Mondays for maintenance, it will provide service on Monday, August 5, during its regular hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. According to the Metro, this measure aims to facilitate access to scheduled activities in Parque Arví, such as the route through the flower farmer estates and the flower farmer bike ride on electric bicycles.

The system will also reinforce commercial operations during the days of the Flower Fair, especially during events where a higher influx of users is expected. In this way, they aim to ensure efficient and safe mobility for attendees expected at the cultural and artistic events of the Flower Fair.

Additionally, the Metro reminds users of the importance of following the recommendations of staff and maintaining appropriate behavior for the proper operation of the system during the days of the event.
