Media: Microsoft is going to release a new Xbox cloud console in 2023

The American corporation Microsoft plans to release the Xbox Keystone console, which allows you to stream games to various devices, in 2023. This is reported by the publication Windows Central, citing sources within the company.

The console will run on Xbox Cloud Gaming cloud technology and is a set-top box for a TV and a smartphone with a gamepad. The device will cost $99 and will allow you to play by streaming from the cloud to the user’s device. It requires a $15 Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription and a stable, fast internet connection. At this stage of development, Xbox Cloud Gaming can support a maximum resolution of 1080p on PC and 720p on mobile.

The design of the new console will be similar to the Xbox Series S. Keystone is expected to support other streaming services, including Netflix and Disney+. The console will only be available in markets where Xbox Cloud Gaming has already launched, which is currently 26 countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, South Korea and a number of European countries. Russia is not among them.
