Media One ban; Judgment today

Kochi: The High Court on Tuesday adjourned judgment on a petition filed by Media Broadcasting Ltd, the channel’s owners, against a central government order blocking the broadcast of Media One channel. The Central Government has filed in the High Court the files from the Home Ministry that led to the decision to ban the channel.

Justice N said it would take time to examine the files and documents. Nagaresh changed the verdict. The interim order restraining the implementation of the central government’s order blocking the channel’s transmission has been extended till Tuesday.
